My husband, son and I enjoyed Nicole’s “La Melve “Gite de vacances” on a quiet country road in MIlhac. The whole house was sparkling clean when we arrived. It is a beautifully converted stone barn surrounded by plum and persimmon trees (adjacent but entirely separate from Nicole’s own stone house). We made great use of its well-appointed kitchen. And enjoyed its comfortable beds and new bathrooms. It has a private garden and a classic outdoor dining area surrounded by stone walls. We enjoyed swimming in the Mediterranean style pool every day. She helped us in a pinch when our car battery died hours before we were to attend a much anticipated wedding. We loved her place and the beautiful Dordogne area. (source Airbnb)
